Under Measure 2 of the Outdoor Recreation Infrastructure Scheme, €200,000 in funding was recently announced by Minister Heather Humphreys to deliver a new Dromore Greenway facility running through green countryside with a link connection to Halton’s amenity park and The Errigal Hotel. The project is the first phase of delivering a looped greenway through existing off road laneways within the rural countryside adjoining Cootehill town. This will help locals and visitors to further embrace the great outdoors in the wonderful Cootehill area.
