Cootehill Area Community Games organise events in the Community Games disciplines to encourage creativity and participation. Those who qualify go on to represent the area in the county or provincial competitions and, if successful, at the national finals. Participation is open to children and young people in the Cootehill, Bunnoe, Kill and Drumgoon areas with competitions from u6 to u16 in various disciplines. The area has been represented at County and National level in art, model making, handwriting, talent, gymnastics and athletics and we hope to expand to include chess, soccer, handball and rounders in the near future. Volunteers are always welcome, but will need to be garda vetted. Please contact us if you would like to join or learn more.
